Distance Learning continues this week. We are proud of how hard our students have worked and how serious they have taken this. We understand how new this is to all of our families and thank you for stepping up. This will get easier and teachers and staff are constantly making adjustments based on feedback from students and families and one another. Teachers are working around the clock to come up with innovative ways to deliver instruction. Please continue to emphasize to your children that this is school time and not vacation. This continues to be brand new to all of us and there will be a lot of adjustments to be made. I thank you again for your patience as we navigate through virtual learning. Please do not hesitate to e-mail your teacher or me with any issues that may arise. We are in this together!!

Chromebooks- There have been two Chromebook Distribution Days now. I am assuming that every student that needed one received one by families filling out the forms and going to one of the two pick up days. If there continues to be an issue, please go here to fill out the form to get a Chromebook. If this doesn’t work, please go to the district website and fill out the form there. www.bsd-ri.net I am sure they will have another pick up time for families in need of Chromebooks. Please note that the district technology department is in charge of this and individual schools are not handing these out.
Virtual Spirit Week- With one week of distance learning under our belts, The BHS Student council came up with this week's theme! In order to participate, please check the weekly spirit week flyer (attached) and plan to dress for the day's theme or set aside time to do the activity. At some point during the day, take a photo of your child (or if they can have them) in their attire or them completing the activity. Finally, email the photo to firstname.lastname@example.org. Photos will be shared virtually to show our community spirit and continue to remind us that we are all in this together!
ATTENTION Daily Lunches- There has been an adjustment to lunch distribution time in Burrillville. Bag lunches are being offered at Callahan daily from 11:00-12:00 now. Your child needs to be there to pick the lunch up. This is being done in front of the school of WLC. ATTENTION

The popcorn fundraising order has been submitted and once it arrives to us we will contact parents about arranging a pickup time. We don’t have anything else until we come up with concrete plans for the rest of the year. Thanks and I hope you’re all hanging in there.
