Dear Parents/Guardians,

Please Mark Your Calendars….

Reading Week 2019- Reading week 2019 will be held from May 13-May 17. Please see the attached for the daily themes for that week.

Slogan Contest-Has your child come home trying to think of a great slogan to represent W.L.C.? We are asking each homeroom to come up with slogan that will be motivational and inviting to be hung in our gymnasium. Once each homeroom submits a slogan one will be chosen and the winning slogan will be announced at the end of the year assembly. We can't wait to see what great ideas our students can come up with!

Calling all parents for Field day….Field Day is being held on Wednesday, May 29, 2019...We cannot run this event without the help that our parent volunteers provide…..Please see attached.

Please remember that there will be plenty of opportunities for parents and guardians to volunteer at all of the end of year events. If you intend on volunteering you need to have a BCI on file from this school year (not calendar year). By state law a parent/guardian has to have one completed each school year in order to volunteer in school or on field trips. If you want to help out please do not wait until the last minute to get your BCI check finished.
