Primary Day- There is no school on Tuesday, September 9, 2014 due to the statewide primary.

4th and 5th Grade Families- Cross Country begins tomorrow for students who have handed in all of their paperwork. There will be an announcement for students at 2:55 to report to room 26. The coach will greet them there and take them across the street. You will pick your child up across the street at the field. Please remember that this is only for students in grades 4 & 5.

Healthy Snack-We are happy to announce that we have been able to continue to offer a healthy snack this school year. The district was able to get a grant for a third year in a row. Beginning on Monday, September 15th there will be a fresh fruit or vegetable provided for each classroom every day of the week. The snack will be provided until funding runs out.

Student Paperwork- We would like to thank all of the families who have already turned all of their child’s paperwork. For those who have not, please make sure you turn in all of your paperwork that went home on the first day of school (It came home in a white envelope). The district is encouraging all families to fill out the federal lunch form even if you do not intend on using it. The district is able to capture federal funding based on the information families provide to us on those forms. If you have any questions, please feel free to call the office. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated!

Callahan Picture Day-Creative Photography by Jeanne Hauser will be here to take our students’ pictures on Monday, September 29, 2014. Forms will be coming home later this month.
